Laying and repair of timber, engineered, laminate, vinyl and tile. Subfloor preparation, levelling and skirting.
Landscaping
Patios, paths, driveways, fencing, decking, walling and garden clearance. Drainage sorted properly rather than papered over.
General building
Brickwork and stonework, repointing, rendering, small structural repairs and alterations. Trusted trades brought in where a job needs them.
Why the name
diligentia
Latin — careful attention
Diligentia comes from diligere — to value something, to hold it in regard. The care came from the caring. That is a fair description of the difference between a roof that lasts thirty years and one that lasts eight.
Most roofing failures aren’t dramatic. They are a flashing dressed badly, a nail short of the spec, a valley that was cheaper to bodge than to strip. None of it shows on the day. All of it shows in February.
